Brigandine & Billhooks

Brigandine & Billhooks is a collection of rules and procedures for gritty, weird fantasy games. It's designed to for lightning fast play, verisimilitude, and for easy hacking. Mix and match to build the play experience you want—be it traditional, NSR, or a story game. Modular game booklets provide rules for warfare, exploration, narrative action sequences, and mysterious arcane power.

This is a work in progress. Right now it contains these booklets:

• Core Rules: One page character creation and the core game mechanics.
• Combat & Hazards: Deadly fights, martial techniques, poisons, dangers and misadventure.
• Gear: Rules for rations, light sources, kits, weapons, and armor.

The following booklets are in active development:

• Rest & Recovery: Drink away your treasure, lick your wounds, catch terrible diseases.
• Travel & Exploration: Procedures for crawling the wilderness and conducting dangerous overland journeys.
• Magic & Mysteries: Sorcery, relics, divination, curses, and more.
• Warfare: The clash of arms and the campaigns of belligerent factions. Glory, muck, death.
